The Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Reporting Analyst to lead the design, development, and delivery of advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics within the Workday platform. In addition to serving as a subject matter expert, partnering with HR, Finance, Legal, and Leadership teams to deliver actionable insights, this role will also play a broader part in shared services and automation initiatives (such as Help and similar platforms). The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in Workday reporting tools with strong communication skills and a forward-looking mindsetable to leverage AI/ML and automation to streamline processes, enhance user experience, and translate complex requirements into scalable, high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and custom analytics (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, Prism, Discovery Boards, BIRT). Ensure reporting accuracy, integrity, compliance, and alignment with security and data privacy standards. Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and Leadership teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights. Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests and provide timely, accurate analyses. Document reporting processes, maintain a reporting catalog, and support data governance practices, and maintain user-friendly documentation library. Support Workday upgrades and feature releases through testing and validation of reporting functionality. Drive continuous improvement by enhancing reporting efficiency, expanding self-service capabilities, and mentoring team members. Skills you'll need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Analytics, or related field. 35 years of hands-on experience with Workday reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, custom and Discovery Boards). Proficiency with Prism Analytics and BIRT (certifications strongly preferred). Strong understanding of HR processes including HCM, Payroll, Talent, and Compensation. Good hands-on experience of the Workday Security Framework Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
