successful SAP RAR Revenue Accounting and Reporting Functional Consultant Lead at Fiserv plays a critical role in managing and optimizing revenue accounting processes within the SAP environment You will oversee the end-to-end revenue recognition process to ensure seamless operation from contract accounting to revenue reporting You will effectively manage RAR-related projects including scope definition project delivery planning work assignment and timeline management You will collaborate with the Financial Systems Team and help the organization solve complex business problems and build sophisticated business solutions in SAP RAR by configuring relevant SAP modulesWhat you will do SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting RAR Implementation and Configuration Implement and configure SAP RAR to manage complex revenue recognition requirements Set up and maintain RAR processes including contract accounting revenue recognition and reporting Ensure compliance with accounting standards e g IFRS 15 ASC 606 and regulatory requirements related to revenue recognition Integration and Testing Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO and RAR with other SAP modules e g SD MM and third-party systems Develop and execute test plans to validate configurations and integrations Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP FICO and RAR functionalities Consultation and Support Provide functional expertise and guidance to business users and stakeholders on SAP FICO and RAR processes Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance users understanding of SAP FICO and RAR functionalities Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO and RAR-related issues Reporting and Analysis Develop and configure financial reports and dashboards to meet business needs Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making and financial planning Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in SAP RAR and FICO modules What you will need to have Must have 6 years of experience as an SAP RAR Functional Consultant with a strong focus on Revenue Accounting and Reporting RAR A total of 10 years of SAP hands-on configuration experience in SD or FICO areas Hands-on experience with SAP RAR implementation configuration and support In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles revenue recognition standards e g IFRS 15 ASC 606 and SAP RAR functionalities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues Proficiency in SAP RAR and FICO configuration including experience with integration points and customizations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders and provide training Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively in a dynamic environment A bachelors degree in accounting finance IT or a related field is preferred SAP Sales and Distribution FICO Certification is advantageous Experience in Bill-Direct and or Cloud for Receivables will be a plus What would be great to have Proven ability to quickly learn existing business processes and combine knowledge from multiple disciplines e g SAP capability standard industry best practice to produce optimal business solutions Adept at understanding business challenges navigating from problem to resolution and communicating process and resolution effectively both verbally and in writing Proven ability to actively participate in process workshops deliver process decomposition and system design Proven ability to elicit analyze and document end-user requirements Experience in writing and executing solution test plans Banking and Financial Services experience Experience working in a Scrum Development Team Business degree MBA Basic ABAP knowledge or debugging
