About the Role
We are seeking a motivated AI Research Intern with a passion for Computer Vision (CV) and Vision-Language Models (VLMs). As an intern, you will work alongside our team of experienced AI researchers and engineers to develop innovative solutions, conduct experiments, and contribute to real-world projects. This internship will provide hands-on experience and an opportunity to deepen your understanding of cutting-edge AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and fine-tuning of computer vision and vision-language models.
- Research state-of-the-art techniques in CV and VLMs to improve existing systems.
- Experiment with large-scale datasets and create robust preprocessing pipelines.
- Conduct performance evaluations of models and present findings to the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into applications.
- Document experiments, results, and insights for knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Education: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python; experience with libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- AI Knowledge: Familiarity with deep learning concepts, transformers, and pretrained vision-language models
- Computer Vision Experience: Basic understanding of image processing, object detection, segmentation, or related areas.
- Mathematical Foundations: Basic knowledge of linear algebra, probability, and optimization.
- Communication: Ability to clearly document and present technical work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with tools for distributed training (e.g., PyTorch Lightning, DDP).
- Previous experience in research or hands-on projects related to CV or VLMs.
- Exposure to evaluation metrics for CV (e.g., mAP, IoU) or VLMs (e.g., retrieval accuracy).
