Job Description Teamware Solutions is seeking a specialized Elastic Path Developer to design, build, and optimize cutting-edge e-commerce solutions. You'll play a crucial role in customizing and extending the Elastic Path platform, enabling rich, scalable, and personalized digital commerce experiences for our clients. Key Responsibilities - Develop, customize, and integrate features and functionalities within the Elastic Path Commerce platform. - Implement complex commerce business logic, product catalog management, pricing rules, and order fulfillment processes. - Design and build robust integrations between Elastic Path and other systems, including ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and content management systems. - Work with Elastic Path Composable Commerce components, APIs, and microservices to deliver flexible and scalable solutions. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards for Elastic Path development. - Collaborate with architects, front-end developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. - Troubleshoot and debug issues within the Elastic Path environment, ensuring optimal performance and stability. Qualifications - Proven experience as an Elastic Path Developer or in a similar e-commerce platform development role. Skills Required: - Strong hands-on experience with the Elastic Path Commerce platform, including its core architecture, APIs, and customization capabilities. - Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data) as Elastic Path is built on these technologies. - Experience with RESTful API development and consumption. - Solid understanding of e-commerce concepts, including product catalogs, pricing, promotions, order management, and customer accounts. - Familiarity with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Preferred Skills: - Experience with Elastic Path Composable Commerce and its newer services. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React) for headless commerce implementations. - Experience with other e-commerce platforms (e.g., Adobe Commerce/Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) is a plus.
