Position Overview:

The roles and responsibilities of IT consultants entail providing SAP S/4HANA and VERTEX O Series expert advice to help Siemens enhance their technology investments and improve their operations. They help analyze the existing systems, processes, identify problems and propose solutions for the regulatory tax requirements to improve them sustainable.

You'll make a difference by:

- In your new role as SAP S/4HANA - VERTEX O-Series Consultant, you have the responsibility as an IT domain expert in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA - VERTEX O-Series consulting projects in the area of value added tax (VAT)
- In your position, you will propose solutions for the technical implementation of regulatory tax requirements and design efficient business processes in cooperation with the Siemens Controlling and Finance Tax Experts and implement them technically in S/4HANA and VERTEX O'Series.
- You are responsible for knowledge development and transfer as well as for the expansion of the company's internal SAP S/4HANA and VERTEX O'Series competence.
- You provide consulting services along the entire process chain (end-to-end processes)
- You systematically identify and propose solutions for process improvements as well standardization, harmonization and automation in tax-related business processes to ensure compliance across tax processes.
- You systematically identify and propose solutions for process improvements, technical issue resolution, as well as standardization, harmonization and automation in customs-related business processes to ensure compliance across customs processes.

Your success is grounded in:

- You have successfully completed a bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent experience in economics or business informatics or a comparable field or have acquired a comparable qualification.
- Additionally, you have solid experience in the field of software implementation
- You bring 4-5 years of SAP S/4HANA MM, SD, EWM and TM and VERTEX O-Series professional experience.
- You have hands-on experience in conception and implementation of VERTEX O-Series solutions.
- Your excellent analytical and conceptual skills and your ability to demonstrate and possess analytical, presentation, troubleshooting, and design skills good communication and presentation skills.
- You are decisive, creative, result- and customer focused, show initiative and motivate the team. Your communication skills at all hierarchical levels are well-developed and appropriate to the situation.
- Business fluent English skills are required, both written and spoken.
