Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sponsorship Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly in securing sponsorship deals for events/media. They will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing sponsorship opportunities that align with our events and provide value to our sponsors.
Your Profile
1. Prospect and research potential sponsors, including corporations, brands, and organizations, that align with the target audience and objectives of our events.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at prospective sponsor companies.
3. Create compelling sponsorship packages and proposals tailored to the needs andobjectives of potential sponsors.
4. Present sponsorship opportunities to prospects through meetings, presentations, andother communication channels.
5. Negotiate sponsorship agreements and contracts, ensuring terms are mutuallybeneficial and aligned with the interests of both parties.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and fulfillment ofsponsorship agreements, including delivering on promised benefits and activations.
7. Track and report on sales metrics, including pipeline status, revenue projections, andconversion rates.
8. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging sponsorshipopportunities to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
9. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions toexpand our network and identify new business opportunities.
Your Checklist
1. Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
2. 7+ years of experience in sponsorship sales in the events or entertainment industry.
3. Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate valuepropositions clearly and persuasively.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
6. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multipleprojects simultaneously.
7. Willingness to travel as needed.
