Job Description Date: 12 Nov 2025 Company: Air Arabia PJSC (G9) Location: Pune, IN Country: IN Special Note This role comes under CoreOps Service Private Limited, Air Arabia's newly launched Global Capability Center in Pune, India. CoreOps Services Private Limited (a subsidiary of Air Arabia PJSC) caters to the global business operations of the Air Arabia group and provides operations support to the Air Arabia parent company as well as its subsidiaries, joint ventures and associates worldwide. CoreOps focuses on centralizing, standardizing, and streamlining processes for efficient functioning of the business. Job Purpose To execute and manage the company's financial operations with a primary focus on accounts payable, audit & control, reporting, compliance, banking, and reconciliations. This role ensures accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, and efficient cash flow management. The position requires attention to detail, effective coordination with Group Finance management, and the ability to drive process improvements. Key Result Responsibilities - Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, to support decision-making. - Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution. - Collaborate with Group Finance teams to ensure alignment of accounting practices and prepare consolidated financial reports. - Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, GST filings, and corporate governance requirements. - Oversee end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor management. - Ensure timely payments, resolve payment discrepancies, and maintain audit-ready documentation. - Manage daily cash flow, cash forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity planning. Key Result Responsibilities - Continued - Work with tax consultants to prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR) accurately and on time. - Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely submission of audit documentation and adherence to accounting standards. - Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with updated financial reporting standards. - Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements. - Act as a liaison between the accounting team and group management to align processes and ensure smooth communication. - Update and maintain the accuracy of financial data within the Oracle Financial System. - Regularly review system-generated reports for errors or discrepancies and ensure timely corrections. Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages) - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field . Master's degree is preferred with 4 to 6 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in similar role. - Strong knowledge of accounts payable, compliance, banking, and reconciliations. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. - Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and group management. Work Experience - Experience in Indian accounting. - Experience in India based managed services, or outsourcing company is a plus. - Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and support decision-making. - High accuracy and thoroughness in financial reporting and reconciliations. - Ability to resolve discrepancies and implement preventive measures.
