Business Head - Ecommerce (USA): (Prior Experience on Amazon.com is a compulsory requirement) Our company has been a leader in the manufacturing of home textiles for the past 30 years. We specialize in producing high-quality bed linens, duvet covers, comforters, quilts, and blankets. Currently, we are seeking to fill specific positions within our Mumbai-based firm. This is a senior executive role responsible for overall marketing strategies, to drive brand awareness and revenue, oversee brand management, conduct market research, managing marketing budgets , to build and lead a team to achieve company objectives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic acumen, and a deep understanding of the market and competitive landscape. - Candidate will be responsible for the start-up, launch of a textile product (currently bedsheet) on AMAZON.com. - The target is to build the business up to 200 million dollars over the coming 36 months, which is a very doable target for the right candidate. - Candidate will be the whole and soul of the business reporting directly to the CEO, and will be expected to be up to date and hand on on all activities relating to the project, including and not limited to knowledge of listings, handling text, photos, videos and coordinating with the Amazon offices here in India and US, as may be required from time to time. - Candidate will be expected to ensure daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and YTD reports as required by the management on a timely basis and ensure coordination with the accounting CA’s both in US and locally. Key Responsibilities will include: - Marketing Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement marketing plans to increase brand awareness and sales, setting both short- term and long-term goals. - Brand Management: Create and maintain a consistent and positive brand image and identity in the market. - Market Research: Conduct research to understand target audiences, customer preferences, and competitor activity to inform marketing strategies. - Marketing Communications: Manage all aspects of public relations, advertising, and promotional campaigns to effectively communicate with the target market. - Digital Marketing: Oversee online marketing activities, including content strategy, SEO, SEM, and leveraging social media platforms. - Budget Management: Design and review the marketing department's budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources. - Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture. Essential Skills & Qualifications - Leadership: Exceptional leadership, team-building, and mentoring abilities. - Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for creating successful campaigns and reports. - Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. - Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop strategic product positioning and pricing strategies. - Digital Savvy: A deep understanding of current digital marketing channels, technologies, and analytics platforms. - Experience: Typically requires extensive experience in marketing and senior leadership roles with a proven track record of driving business growth.
