Job Description Specialist in Visual Communication, Video Editing, and Graphic Design Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Lead Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will possess strong visual communication expertise, hands-on experience in video and graphics production, and a passion for delivering impactful visual content. This role requires a blend of creative flair, technical proficiency, and leadership to drive projects from conceptualisation to completion. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the production of video and graphic content for various projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Design visually compelling posters, brochures, and marketing collateral for promotional and content creation purposes. Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to conceptualise and execute creative campaigns. Edit and animate videos using industry-standard software, maintaining a consistent visual style aligned with brand guidelines. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications. Provide creative direction and mentorship to junior designers and editors within the team. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in graphic design, animation, and video editing. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in visual communication or a related field. 34 years of demonstrable experience working on multiple projects involving video and graphics production. Excellent proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects. Strong video editing and animation skills, with a robust portfolio showcasing previous work. Proven expertise in designing posters, brochures, and other marketing materials. Exceptional communication skills in spoken and written English. Preferred Skills Proficiency in Figma and wireframing tools is a significant advantage. Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams on creative projects. Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Personal Attributes Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. Proactive problem solver with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Team player who thrives in collaborative settings and is open to feedback.
