Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivatedSystem Programmerto join our IT Infrastructure team. This role is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical enterprise systems includingLinux servers,Apache HTTP Server, andOracle WebLogic. The ideal candidate will have strong scripting abilities and experience with writing SQL queries to support operational and development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintainLinux operating systems,Apache HTTP Server, andOracle WebLogicapplication servers in development, test, and production environments.
- Perform regularsystem patchingand software updates to ensure platform security and stability.
- Develop and maintainautomation scripts(e.g., Bash, Python, or similar) to streamline system management tasks.
- Write and optimizeSQL queriesto support reporting, troubleshooting, and system integration needs.
- Monitor system performance and implement tuning improvements to maximize availability and efficiency.
- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to support application deployments and troubleshoot system-related issues.
- Maintain accurate system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to incidents as required.

Required Qualifications:

- Overall 8-12 years of experience.
- Proven experience withLinux system administration(RHEL, CentOS, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience withApache HTTP ServerandOracle WebLogic.
- Proficiency inscripting languagessuch as Bash, Python, or Perl.
- Strong understanding ofSQLand relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL).
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of security best practices and patch management procedures.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience withCI/CD pipelines,Ansible, ArgoCD, or other automation tools.
- Exposure tocloud environments(e.g., AWS, Azure) or container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
