What you'll build: - Develop and maintain core components of the Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM) tool used for system provisioning tasks across SAP landscapes. - Implement and enhance provisioning procedures for system installation, system copy, system rename, and transformation across ABAP and Java stacks. - Ensure compatibility and support for a wide range of operating systems and databases (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL Server, IBM Db2, SAP MaxDB, ASE). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of SAP systems within the business. - Maintain high code quality through rigorous testing, including automated and manual test scenarios. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP installations and upgrades. - Analyse and resolve defects and performance issues in provisioning processes. - Provide technical documentation and support for internal stakeholders and customers. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in SAP technologies and provide recommendations for enhancements. - Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and company policies. What you bring - Minimum 8 years of experience in software development. - Strong expertise in JavaScript, Shell scripting, and SAP SWPM usage. - Hands-on experience in System Administration across Unix/Linux and Windows environments. - Experience with SQL Coding and DB Administration. - Solid understanding of system provisioning across diverse platforms and databases. - Good to have: experience with ABAP coding, DBA Cockpit version control systems, and automated testing. - Familiarity with SAP's System Lifecycle and Provisioning Tools (SWPM, SUM, etc.) is a plus - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. - Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively across global teams. - Commitment to code quality, maintainability, and continuous improvement.
