DescriptionAt Gigamon our purpose is to protect the hybrid networks and data of the largest most complex organizations on the planet Certified as a Great Place to Work we offer a deep observability pipeline that efficiently delivers network-derived intelligence to cloud security and observability tools This helps our customers to eliminate security blind spots optimize network traffic and dramatically reduce tool cost and complexity enabling them to better secure and manage their hybrid cloud infrastructure Gigamon has served more than 4 000 customers worldwide including over 80 percent of Fortune 100 enterprises 9 of the 10 largest mobile network providers and hundreds of governments and educational organizations We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team The ideal candidate will have 7 years of experience in accounting preferably within the IT or ITES industry This role requires proficiency in MS D365 or other ERP systems as well as a solid understanding of US GAAP The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in month-end quarter-end and year-end closing activities while ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger and supporting audits What you ll do Month-end Quarter-end and Year-end Closing Lead and manage closing processes ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting General Ledger Accounting and Reconciliation Manage and reconcile the general ledger ensuring the integrity of financial data Bank Reconciliation Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure cash balances are accurately reported MS D365 or ERP System Management Utilize MS D365 or other ERP systems to manage accounting functions including posting entries generating reports and analyzing data Financial Data Review and Analysis Review analyze and interpret financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards Knowledge of US GAAP Ensure that all accounting processes adhere to US GAAP regulations International Financial Knowledge Manage accounting activities for different international regions staying up-to-date with global financial regulations and tax laws Accounts Receivable Tracking recording and reporting of receipts from customers reconcile accounts and responding to customer questions Audit Support Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits Process Improvement Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency in financial reporting and reconciliation tasks What you ve done Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related commerce field Minimum 7 years of accounting experience preferably in the IT or ITES industry Strong experience with MS D365 or other ERP systems Solid understanding of US GAAP and international accounting standards Proficient in MS Excel and Microsoft Dynamics 365 or any similar ERP system Strong knowledge of financial reporting general ledger reconciliation and data analysis Who you are Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and regions Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience working with accounting for multiple international regions Prior experience supporting financial audits Willingness ability to pick up new stuff and good attitude LI-PK1We are committed to a diverse equitable and inclusive Gigamon As an equal opportunity employer all applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex national origin age sexual orientation gender identity disability veteran status or any other protected characteristic under applicable federal state and or local law Gigamon fosters a business culture dedicated to equitable hiring If your experience and skills closely match our job description but may not necessarily fulfill all requirements please still apply Gigamon is on a continued mission to grow and scale an innovative organization We believe this is best achieved by hiring celebrating and respecting people with diverse backgrounds skills perspectives and experiences The privacy rights of all individuals including job applicants and candidates are very important to us Our will inform you about how Gigamon Inc and its direct and indirect subsidiaries collect use store or otherwise process personal information about job applicants and candidates including through your access and or use of our and third-party job websites e g LinkedIn Indeed Glassdoor Naukri etc
