About EvernorthEvernorth Health Services a division of The Cigna Group NYSE CI creates pharmacy care and benefits solutions to improve health and increase vitality We relentlessly innovate to make the prediction prevention and treatment of illness and disease more accessible to millions of people About EvernorthEvernorth Health Services a division of The Cigna Group NYSE CI creates pharmacy care and benefits solutions to improve health and increase vitality We relentlessly innovate to make the prediction prevention and treatment of illness and disease more accessible to millions of people Position Overview Provides expert content and professional leadership on complex Infrastructure assignments projects Serves as a technical consultant responsible for design engineering and development of information technology solutions Supports the design analysis development and implementation of engineering infrastructure solutions of projects and or work requests for complex business solutions Troubleshoots and proceeds on resolving infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture project requirements customer expectations etc May be involved in the creation of design specifications and the development and application of utility programs and may resolve infrastructure compatibility problems as they arise Responsibilities Responsibilities may include risks assessments partnering on capacity planning and the diagnosis and correction of application network problems May serve as the primary contact for vendors Technologies span mainframe midrange servers network data voice messaging web and databases Exercises considerable creativity foresight and judgment in conceiving planning and delivering initiatives Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders Focuses on providing thought leadership within Infrastructure Engineering but works on broader projects which require understanding of wider business Recognized internally as a subject matter expert Support monitoring products and solutions to including implementation migrations documentation and decommissioning Conduct periodic reviews and rationalize installed products Optimize and automate solutions to increase performance availability and reduce cost Integrate infrastructure components into existing monitoring products Provide escalation support to engineering operations and other staff QualificationsRequired Skills 11-13 Years of experience is required 10-15 years of experience with Service Assurance Enterprise Monitoring and Observability technologies including but not limited to Netcool SevOne Dynatrace Assure1 Moogsoft Solarwinds 5-10 years of experience installing and administering Tivoli products including TEPS TEMS TSAMP and RTEMS 10 years of system administration experience in Linux AIX and or Windows 5 years of experience with VMware or other hypervisor virtualization technologies Demonstrated experience in developing automation solutions using Ansible Python and or Powershell Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization Strong presentation skills Experience working on agile teams utilizing SCRUM Kanban Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions Demonstrated ability to define and develop customized solutions that meet business requirements Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and meet project deadlines Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines and or after-hours support Desired Experience Coaching of team members
