Job Description Teamware Solutions is seeking a skilled Redis Administrator to manage, optimize, and ensure the high availability of our Redis database instances. You'll play a crucial role in supporting our caching, session management, and real-time data needs, directly contributing to the performance and scalability of our applications. Key Responsibilities - Install, configure, and maintain Redis deployments across various environments, ensuring optimal performance and stability. - Implement and manage Redis high availability solutions like Sentinel and Redis Cluster. - Monitor Redis instance health, performance metrics, and resource utilization, proactively addressing issues. - Perform routine backup and recovery operations for Redis data, ensuring data persistence and disaster recovery capabilities. - Optimize Redis configurations, memory usage, and persistence strategies (RDB, AOF) for different use cases. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex Redis-related incidents, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity issues, and data corruption. - Manage Redis security, user access, and implement best practices for secure deployments. - Collaborate with development teams to advise on Redis best practices, data modeling, and query optimization. Qualifications - Proven experience as a Redis Administrator or a Database Administrator with significant Redis expertise. Skills Required: - Strong hands-on experience with Redis administration, including installation, configuration, and monitoring. - Proficiency in managing Redis high availability setups (Sentinel, Cluster). - Solid understanding of Redis data structures (strings, hashes, lists, sets, sorted sets) and their appropriate use cases. - Experience with Redis persistence mechanisms (RDB, AOF) and backup/restore procedures. - Ability to optimize Redis performance and troubleshoot common issues. - Familiarity with Linux operating systems for Redis deployment and management. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. - Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation. Preferred Skills: - Experience with Redis Enterprise or other managed Redis services. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS ElastiCache, Azure Cache for Redis). - Familiarity with caching strategies and distributed systems concepts. - Relevant database or caching technology certifications.
