**Job Title: Hadoop Administrator**

**Location: Kanjurmarg, Mumbai**

**Job Type: Full-Time**

**Experience: 3-5 Years**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and maintain Hadoop clusters and associated infrastructure.
- Monitor cluster performance and ensure efficient resource usage.
- Manage and optimize Hadoop services such as HDFS, YARN, Hive, HBase, and Spark.
- Implement data security and access control in Hadoop.
- Perform backup and recovery operations for the Hadoop ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Hadoop-related issues promptly.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to implement data pipelines.
- Manage and maintain Kafka or Redis infrastructure, including setting up, monitoring, and managing topics or caching layers.
- Ensure data consistency and availability within Kafka or Redis environments.
- Develop automation scripts for routine tasks and enhance cluster management.
- Provide support for data ingestion and extraction processes.
- Document best practices and operational procedures for Hadoop and Kafka/Redis environments.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Hadoop administration.
- Strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem components like HDFS, YARN, Hive, HBase, Spark, and other related technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or Redis administration.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Experience in shell scripting or Python for automation.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios, Grafana, or Ambari.
- Understanding of data security principles and disaster recovery planning.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹296,674.52 - ₹1,285,776.81 per year
