Our portfolio includes Fortune-scale distributors and PE-backed operators, each running aggressive growth mandates across North America. We move fast, challenge legacy thinking, and operate with founder-level urgency. Why We’re Hiring This is a critical net-new hire. Our analytics engine is scaling, our client base is accelerating, and we need a high-capacity Data Scientist who can step in immediately. You’ll be central to converting messy, high-volume distributor data into growth intelligence that shapes sales coverage, pricing, customer penetration, and whitespace strategy. This role is not maintenance—it’s build, lead, and deliver at enterprise velocity. Key Responsibilities 1. Heavy Data Processing & Engineering (Non-Negotiable) You must be able to confidently process: - 700MB–1GB+ raw ERP files - 50,000+ customer universes - 20,000+ SKU catalogs with multi-year transactional history - Multi-million-row CSV/XLSX files that require optimization, merging, reshaping, and normalization - Product hierarchy reconstruction and account master cleansing If large datasets break your pipeline, your RAM, or your workflow—this role will not be a fit. 2. Growth Intelligence Modeling - Whitespace identification across categories, regions, and customer segments - Share-of-wallet and SKU penetration modeling - Reactivation, decline detection, and churn-risk indicators - Inside-sales rep assignment and prioritization scoring models 3. Advanced Analytics & AI-Driven Initiatives - Predictive modeling (regression, clustering, classification) - ML-based prioritization for outbound calling - AI-driven account matching and lead scoring - Opportunity simulations and growth scenario modeling 4. Insight Delivery & Executive Visualization - Build leadership-ready dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Python) - Convert models into actionable revenue strategies - Partner with consulting teams to drive execution across clients 5.
