Summary Role PurposeThe MLOps Engineer is a pioneering role within the Ansys Customer Excellence ACE team focused on developing and deploying AI applications at scale for various business operations ACE team is in a continuous pursuit of operating with utmost efficiency and identifies AI as the new paradigm shift This role is instrumental in leveraging MLOps knowledge and experience to streamline and accelerate AI transformation within the ACE team The MLOps Engineer will collaborate closely with the ACE team to create innovative AI-driven solutions optimize machine learning infrastructure and establish best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of AI implementation in the organization Key Duties and Responsibilities Develop the necessary Python modules as micro-services for AnsysGPT back-end RAG LLM database security related etc systems Develop and maintain CI CD pipelines to ensure efficient model deployment testing and monitoring of AI applications Evaluate and test new machine learning models and infrastructure for performance stability scalability and cost-effectiveness Develop the front-end access-points for specific AI applications that the team is building Develop and maintain the library of system prompts for all the applications that the team has Fix defects and implement enhancement based on internal testing and external feedback Maintain production and staging environments for all the AI platforms that the team has Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations Work with the UX UI team to develop and maintain the front-end access-points Work with data team to develop and maintain a suite of tools that can be used for automated or semi-automated data scraping uploading including maintaining data indexes Work with deployment team to build any on-demand infrastructure platform to handle specific customers or situations xc2xb7 Participate in other strategic team and company initiatives as neededMinimum Education Certification Requirements and Experience Required education and degree type BS or MS in computer science engineering or a related field Required minimum years of professional experience in an engineering software environment BS 2 MS 0 Strong background in foundational AI models and experience working with either commercial or open-source large language models Strong knowledge of machine learning deep learning and MLOps is mandatory Proficiency in Python is required knowledge of JavaScript front-end development is a plus but not necessary Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment Preferred Qualifications and Skillsxc2xb7 Preferred education and years of professional experience in an engineering software environment BS 5 MS 3 PhD 0 Ability to travel domestically up to 10 of the time Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE CAD EDA PLM software packagesxe2x80x8b Knowledge of the use of Ansys Discovery products Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Azure AWS and Google Cloud with a strong preference for
