Key Duties and Responsibilities of a Restaurant Manager 1 Staff Management Recruit train and supervise staff servers cooks hosts etc Create work schedules and manage staff shifts Monitor staff performance and provide feedback Resolve staff conflicts and enforce discipline if needed 2 Customer Service Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly Oversee the dining experience to maintain service quality Build relationships with regular customers 3 Financial Management Monitor restaurant s financial performance sales costs profits Prepare budgets and forecast revenues Manage payroll inventory and purchasing Reduce waste and control food beverage costs 4 Operations and Quality Control Oversee food preparation and presentation Ensure compliance with health safety and hygiene standards Inspect dining area and kitchen regularly for cleanliness Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff for efficient service 5 Marketing and Promotion Develop promotional campaigns and seasonal offers Work with social media online platforms and traditional advertising Maintain a positive reputation through reviews and customer feedback 6 Inventory and Supplies Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed Manage vendor relationships and negotiate prices Track usage and minimize overstock or shortages 7 Compliance and Record-Keeping Ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulations Maintain records of sales expenses payroll and inventory Obtain and renew licenses and permits as required 8 Strategic Planning Set goals for staff and overall restaurant performance Analyze business trends and customer preferences Innovate with menu offerings or service style based on market demand Job Types Full-time Permanent Fresher Pay 20 000 00 - 28 000 00 per month Schedule Day shift Morning shift Rotational shift Supplemental Pay Commission pay Overtime pay Performance bonus Quarterly bonus Yearly bonus Ability to commute relocate Malappuram Kerala Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Experience total work 2 years Preferred Work Location In person
