A Boiler DCS Distributed Control System Engineer in a power plant is responsible for managing and optimizing the automated systems that control the boiler and related processes This involves monitoring controlling and troubleshooting the boiler s operation through the DCS ensuring safe efficient and reliable power generation Key Responsibilities DCS Operation and Control Monitoring and controlling boiler parameters like pressure temperature flow rates and fuel feed using the DCS system Performance Optimization Ensuring efficient combustion optimal steam generation and minimal emissions by adjusting control parameters Troubleshooting and Maintenance Diagnosing and resolving issues with the boiler and DCS including coordinating with maintenance teams for repairs and overhauls Safety Compliance Adhering to safety protocols environmental regulations and operational limits Data Monitoring and Reporting Maintaining accurate records of boiler operations performance data and maintenance activities System Maintenance and Upgrades Performing routine maintenance on DCS components and assisting with system upgrades and modifications as needed Collaboration Working with other engineers operators and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth plant operation Specific tasks may include Starting up and shutting down the boiler safely Monitoring and controlling the coal or fuel feeding systems Controlling the flow of water and steam in the boiler system Monitoring and controlling the performance of the ash handling plant Troubleshooting issues with the boiler and related equipment Ensuring proper functioning of safety systems Maintaining logbooks and records of operations Coordinating with the turbine and generator operations Qualifications Bachelor s degree in engineering mechanical electrical or related field Experience with Distributed Control Systems DCS and related technologies Knowledge of power plant operations including boilers and turbines Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental standards JOB APPLY http jobs vinayakjob com CONTACT DETAILS - Name - VJC FRENCHISE Number - 82260 07335
