Operations and Sales Executive

Trailblazers is seeking a dynamic and versatile Operations and Sales Executive to join our team. This role combines the responsibilities of overseeing and managing operational aspects and driving sales for our unique educational domestic and international travel experiences for children, corporates, and individuals. This role requires a proactive and enthusiastic individual with the highest level of integrity, excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead experiential learning trips to destinations across India and Internationally.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of booked trips, including transportation, accommodation, activities, and educational content.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target schools for experiential learning trips.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in schools, such as Principals, teachers, and educational coordinators.
- Market and sell experiential travel programmes to schools, individuals and corporate across India.
- Follow up with clients to address any questions or concerns and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and educational curriculum changes to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Qualifications and job requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
- Sales experience would be beneficial
- Passion for education and travel with a genuine interest in promoting experiential learning opportunities for students.
- Proven experience in travel operations management, preferably within the educational or experiential travel industry.
- Proficiency in English is a prerequisite, and fluency in other Indian languages is highly advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to travel extensively for experiential trips, client meetings or industry events.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to delivering outstanding service and experiences.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of effectively leading and developing teams.
