**Discovery Metrics and Reporting Associate**

The Legal Department has a number of key operations to meet our obligations to various regulatory oversight and investigative bodies as necessary. This includes obligations to regulatory bodies of legal entities, both domestic and international that regulate our business as well as to civil and criminal investigation authorities or adversarial counsel. Legal is organized by Practice Groups that conform to the organization of the Firm's line of business and corporate staff areas. Each Practice Group has a General Counsel who is the Practice Group Head and who reports to the Firm's General Counsel. This structure provides the means for the Legal teams to communicate legal and regulatory changes to the business and staff areas and for the lines of business (LOB) and staff areas to communicate business developments that have legal or regulatory implications to the Legal teams in a timely manner.

We are looking for a Metrics and Reporting Associate to join the Legal Discovery Management Team (LDM) based in
**Mumbai, India**. The Metrics and Reporting Associate main tasks will be to ensure the accuracy of current/historical data inputs, generate and report business metrics/reports to upper management.

Data and metrics are key to LDM's success, and as an Metrics and Reporting Associate, you will create and maintain metrics for key performance indicators of the business.

Additionally, you will have an opportunity to work closely with internal and external stakeholders on database and platform testing, implementation, and process improvement.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
**Reporting Development**
- Analyze and ensure the accuracy of current/historical data inputs.
- Develop and generate business metrics/reports dashboards, using Tableau, Business Objects, and other data visualization software to
- Contribute to and manage business process enhancement, automation, and documentation initiatives for LDM management and other stakeholders
- Maintain and track key performance indicators of the business
- Generate/enhance queries using SQL, Oracle, Microsoft Access, VBA, and/or other tools

**Client - Customer Stakeholder**
- Utilize technical skills and abilities to understand business requirements and stakeholder needs.
- Make strategic recommendations to drive the process or resources in a particular direction given what the data shows
- Display great interpersonal skills with a customer driven mindset, providing real time and frequent updates
- Clearly articulate results and outcomes to a variety of stakeholders
- Participating in projects and initiatives related to data quality, data hygiene, audit readiness, metrics enhancement, process documentation, and other key departmental goal

**Qualifications and Expertise with**:

- MS SQL, Oracle, and Microsoft Access. Professional SQL development experience and deep understanding of database architecture
- Tableau, Business Objects and/or other data visualization software, Microsoft Excel, macros, advanced formulas, and charting
- PowerPoint and SharePoint; Visio experience a plus
- Experience in automating business processes utilizing scripting tools such as VBS, VBA, and Python, helpful but not required
- Experience with Pega and eDiscovery, helpful but not required
- Familiarity using data in a cloud environment, helpful not required
- Background in Legal and/or eDiscovery, helpful but not required
- Experience with presenting complex data to multiple audiences and stakeholder groups
- 3 years of prior experience as a Metrics and Reporting Associate preferred
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills with management and other legal personnel are mandatory
