**Job Description: Resident Medical Officer (RMO) - Emergency Department**

**Location**: Surya Hospital Greater Noida

**Position Summary**:
The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) for the Emergency Department plays a pivotal role in providing timely and efficient medical care to patients presenting in the emergency setting. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, the RMO ensures the delivery of high-quality emergency medical services while adhering to hospital protocols and standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide immediate medical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and order diagnostic tests as necessary to determine the severity and nature of patients' conditions.
- Administer appropriate emergency interventions, including resuscitation procedures, to stabilize critically ill or injured patients.
- Collaborate with consultants, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients requiring admission or transfer to specialized units.
- Monitor patients' progress, response to treatment, and vital signs throughout their stay in the Emergency Department.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient medical records, including examination findings, treatment provided, and discharge instructions.
- Participate in regular departmental meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of emergency medical services.
- Provide guidance and support to junior medical staff, interns, and nursing personnel working in the Emergency Department.
- Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and guidelines regarding patient care, safety, infection control, and medical ethics.
- Maintain professional competence through ongoing medical education, training, and certification activities.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical license to practice as a Resident Medical Officer.
- Completion of internship and residency training in emergency medicine or relevant specialty.
- Prior experience working in emergency departments or acute care settings preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in emergency assessment, resuscitation, and management of medical and surgical emergencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, prioritize tasks, and make quick and sound clinical decisions.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
