**Global Finance & Business Management ("GF&BM") India **is a combined LOB-aligned (Line of Business-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan's global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm's Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm's capital.

GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main "pillars" of work - Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products. The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions.

**About the Team**

The Instrumentation and Metrics (I&M) team, which reports into the CIB Finance and Business Management organization and aligned to J.P. Morgan Payments, is seeking a talented, ambitious, and creative individual for the role of **CIB I&M CARI Data Analytics Associate**

The **CIB I&M CARI Data Analytics Associate** role serves as a data product business owner to help define and execute against a book of work and mutually agreed upon roadmaps for various data and analytics dashboards supporting the Payments business. These dashboards drive efficiency and increase capacity for users while ultimately helping grow and protect revenue through previously untapped insights that help inform business decisions and strategy.

The CIB Finance & Business Management (F&BM) Team is leading a transformation of how we report and analyze information across all CIB businesses and functions. The activities of this team include developing interactive dashboards, analyzing cross line of business relationships and impacts, and analyzing consumer behaviors and the impact of the economy and competition on our business. The mission is to liberate our people from manual, inefficient, tedious activities through automation and by transforming how we see and understand data. By using the latest innovative software, we employ data visualization techniques to navigate the storyline, generate the right insights, and answer questions quickly. This position will assist in the development, management, and maintenance of the Merchant Services line of business. The role requires a strong technical and analytical background with a focus on joining business operational and financial metrics from multiple data sources. Interaction between Finance, Information Technology, and other groups are required to ensure the infrastructure fully meets business and ongoing reporting requirements.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Work closely with the business users/analysts to understand requirements and functional needs
- Ability to translate business requirements into prototype solutions for new/enhancement requests, with appropriate standards
- Work closely with end-users/IT during the UAT phase of the project
- Work with IT to migrate to production the developed solutions
- Validate that production results comply with business requirements and expected results
- Work as SME/escalation point for the deployed solutions
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Provide a high level of responsiveness to ad-hoc requests, "what-if" scenario data analytics, and regulatory inquiries
- Utilize project management best practices to track book of work priorities, communicate updates, and manage projects to successful completion; explain data concepts & challenges clearly to non-technical stakeholders

**Qualifications**:

- 8+ years of total experience within MIS, Business Intelligence, and/or Analytics roles;
- Finance/Accounting environment experience a plus
- Must have intermediate-level ability in SQL query writing
- Must have intermediate-level, demonstrated knowledge of Excel including but not limited to Pivot, Vlookup, etc.
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of one or more data & business intelligence concept
