**Job Summary:
As a Data Privacy Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with data protection laws, regulations, and organizational policies related to the privacy and security of personal and sensitive data. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain a robust data privacy program, overseeing the protection of customer and employee data across the organization. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including legal, IT, and business teams, to develop and implement privacy strategies and initiatives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive data privacy program to ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Monitor and assess data privacy risks and vulnerabilities within the organization's data processing activities.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) to identify and address potential privacy risks and concerns.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders in the development and implementation of privacy policies, procedures, and controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure privacy considerations are integrated into new projects, products, and services.
- Develop and deliver privacy training and awareness programs to educate employees about data protection obligations and best practices.
- Conduct internal audits and compliance assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of privacy controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on emerging privacy trends, regulations, and industry standards, and provide recommendations for adapting policies and practices accordingly.
- Monitor and respond to changes in privacy laws and regulations, ensuring timely updates to organizational policies and practices.
- Collaborate with the legal team to review and negotiate data protection agreements with third-party vendors and service providers.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in law, computer science, information systems, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT) is a plus.
- Proven experience (10 - 15 years) working in data privacy or related roles, with a deep understanding of data protection laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, Singapore, Turkish, Vietnam Privacy Laws).
- Strong knowledge of privacy principles and best practices, as well as emerging trends in data privacy and security.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex privacy concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in developing and implementing privacy policies, procedures, and controls.
- Knowledge of data breach response and incident management procedures.
- Familiarity with privacy-related technologies and tools
