Demi Chef de Partie Pastry

Assist in the creation of pastries, desserts, cakes, and bread.
- Follow recipes and specifications from the Executive Chef or Pastry Chef.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Ensure consistency in the preparation and presentation of pastry items.
- Manage the storage and use of ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper inventory control.
- Assist in ordering pastry-specific ingredients as required.
- Oversee junior pastry staff, commis, or apprentices in the kitchen.
- Train and mentor team members in pastry techniques and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in the pastry section and ensure that food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to.
- Handle kitchen equipment properly, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained.
- Assist in menu development by contributing ideas and helping in the creation of new dessert and pastry items.
- Be flexible to adapt to seasonal changes and the introduction of new menu items.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines for service.
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Help control wastage and portion sizes to meet budget requirements.
- Ensure that the pastry section runs within the designated food cost limits.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
