CIB Research & Analytics:The Corporate & Investment Banking Research & Analytics is an integrated specialist team covering Origination (Banking and Markets), Products (Securities Services and Treasury Services), Research and Data Analytics globally. We help global corporations, institutions and organizations of all sizes grow their businesses by providing cutting edge analytics and solutions. This group provides you an opportunity to collaborate and work in a high paced global environment and develop a wide range of technical (financial, analytical, quantitative, and coding) and interpersonal skills. Depending upon the function you are part of, you will be making an impact in providing solutions to our Corporate & Investment Banking clients.
- Ideating, implementing, and improvising new Quantitative Investment Strategies and Structured Payoff solutions using J.P. Morgan's unique investment and execution platforms
- Analyzing the research reports from various sources and generating investment ideas around those outlooks
- Finding new ways to drive efficiencies across product lines by staying on top of technical innovations across regions

**Job responsibilities**
- Perform in-depth data analysis, using statistical (or machine learning techniques), to creatively develop investment strategies
- Spearhead the development of automated and ad-hoc solutions to price exotic derivative and structured payoff solutions
- Design custom platform and execution-based investment solutions to facilitate unique financial needs of institutional clients
- Translate business needs into quantitative analyses and tools; communicate complex results to senior stakeholders in a clear and precise manner
- Work independently and collaboratively to establish close partnerships with peers across the greater CIB organization
- Lead and participate in ad-hoc projects as needed by senior management
- Drive the productivity of the team by actively working with senior management in different regions to strategically execute project management, hiring and team expansion initiatives

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Advanced user of MS Office suite, including Word and PowerPoint
- Close attention to detail and ability to work to very high standards
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to present findings to a non-technical audience

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Experience in Python programming specifically strong knowledge of statistical, analytical (or machine learning) libraries
- Strong knowledge of derivative markets (Equities, FX, Rates, or Commodities)
- Knowledge of probability theory, statistics would be an advantage
