Who You Are

We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Virtualization Systems Administrator, specializing in Hyper-V and XenServer technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our virtualization infrastructure utilizing both Hyper-V and XenServer platforms. You will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure the stability, performance, and security of our virtualized environments.

**Responsibilities**:
Design, deploy, and maintain Hyper-V and XenServer virtualization infrastructure. Install, configure, and manage virtual machines, virtual switches, and storage repositories. Monitor system performance and resource utilization to optimize performance and ensure scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtualization platforms, virtual machines, and associated infrastructure. Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for virtualized environments. Ensure security compliance and implement security best practices for virtualized infrastructure. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate virtualized environments with other systems and services. Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Stay abreast of the latest technologies and best practices in virtualization and cloud computing. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and end-users.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing Hyper-V and XenServer virtualization environments. In-depth knowledge of Hyper-V and XenServer architecture, features, and capabilities. Strong understanding of networking concepts and experience with virtual switches. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks. Familiarity with storage technologies such as SAN/NAS and experience with storage integration in virtualized environments. Experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V), or equivalent certifications are a plus.

Experience needed : 6 to 7 years in the same lines.
