We are hiring Windows Administrator for an MNC.

Job Type : Direct , Fulltime role.

Location : Bangalore.

Experience : Minimum 5 Years.

Notice Period : Looking for immediate to 30 days only.

Windows Administrator.

Responsibilities :

- Administer and maintain Windows systems, including performing upgrades, patch management, and production environment deployments.

- Manage and troubleshoot Hyper-V environments, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Microsoft Failover Clusters, including root cause analysis (RCA) using system logs.

- Provide comprehensive support for Windows Server environments (2008 through 2022), including installation, configuration, and issue resolution.

- Collaborate with customers in a support role, ensuring satisfaction and resolution of technical issues.

- Oversee performance tuning of Windows OS and infrastructure, addressing bottlenecks and optimizing resource allocation.

- Maintain and troubleshoot networking components, including DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects (GPO).

- Utilize tools like Perfmon, Procmon, and Netmon for system diagnostics and performance analysis.

- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and industry best practices.

Skills :

- Technical Expertise : Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for Windows OS, clustering, performance issues, RDP, and Hyper-V.

- Hyper-V : Proficiency in Hyper-V management and host patching.

- Cluster Management : Expertise in MS Failover Cluster installation, configuration, and issue resolution.

- Windows Server : Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Windows Server versions 2008 through 2022.

- Patching : Extensive experience in Windows and Hyper-V patching processes.

- Networking : Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, and GPO.

- Diagnostic Tools : Proficient in using tools like Perfmon, Procmon, and Netmon.

- Scripting : Basic knowledge of PowerShell scripting (desirable).

- Process Management : Familiarity with ITIL processes for efficient IT service management.
