**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor system performance and assist in troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance and availability of virtualized environments.
- Provide first-level support for virtualization-related incidents and service requests escalated from Level 1 support teams.
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as provisioning virtual machines, configuring virtual networking, and managing storage.
- Configure and maintain system backups, disaster recovery solutions, and high-availability configurations for virtualized environments.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during off-hours for virtualization emergencies and maintenance activities.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V environments, implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

**Skill Required**:

- 3+ years of experience as a VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization Administrator in a production environment.
- Good understanding of VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
- Familiarity with virtualization concepts such as hypervisors, virtual machines, and virtual networking.
- Basic understanding of storage technologies such as SAN/NAS and storage protocols (iSCSI, Fibre Channel).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and end-users. Eagerness to learn and develop skills in virtualization technologies.
- Certifications such as VMware Certified Associate (VCA) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are a plus.
