We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Expert with a strong background in supply chain operations to join our team. As a Database Expert, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our company's databases, ensuring efficient and accurate storage and retrieval of supply chain data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data requirements, design database structures, and implement data management solutions to support our supply chain operations.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Database Design and Management: Design, develop, and maintain databases to support supply chain operations. Define data requirements, data structures, and database schemas to ensure efficient and effective storage and retrieval of supply chain data. Implement data security and access controls to protect sensitive information.

2. Data Integration and Migration: Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to integrate data from various sources, including ERP systems, inventory management tools, and logistics platforms. Design and implement data migration processes to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruptions during system upgrades or implementations.

3. Performance Optimization: Analyze database performance and identify opportunities for optimization. Monitor database usage, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to improve query performance, data retrieval, and overall system responsiveness. Optimize indexing strategies and database configurations to enhance efficiency.

4. Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality controls and validation rules to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of supply chain data. Develop data cleansing and data enrichment processes to maintain high data integrity standards. Collaborate with business users to resolve data quality issues and ensure data accuracy throughout the supply chain.

5. Reporting and Analytics: Design and develop database queries, views, and stored procedures to support supply chain reporting and analytics needs. Collaborate with business analysts to define data requirements for reporting and provide insights into supply chain performance, inventory levels, demand forecasting, and other key metrics.

6. Data Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with data governance policies, industry regulations, and data protection standards. Develop and enforce data retention policies and procedures. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address data privacy and security requirements.

7. Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain managers, IT professionals, and business analysts, to understand data requirements and translate them into technical database solutions. Document database designs, data models, and data dictionaries. Provide training and support to end-users on database usage and best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Database Expert or similar role, preferably in the context of supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and proficiency in SQL query language.
- Experience in database design, data modeling, and schema development.
- Understanding of supply chain management concepts and processes.
- Familiarity with data integration techniques and tools.
- Knowledge of data quality management principles and practices.
- Ability to optimize database performance and troubleshoot database-related issues.
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity and security.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹343,675.68 - ₹606,397.58 per year
