Job Title : MySQL Database Administrator (DBA)

Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in MySQL database administration.

Location : Chennai, Sholinganallur

Notice Period : Immediate to 20 Days.

Work Mode : Work from office.

Employment Type : :



- Perform database administration tasks including installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MySQL databases.



- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of MySQL databases.



- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize database schema and queries.



- Implement backup and recovery strategies to minimize data loss and downtime.



- Proactively identify and address database-related issues to ensure smooth operations.



- Stay updated with the latest MySQL features, technologies, and best practices.



- Create and maintain documentation related to database configurations, processes, and procedures.


Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.



- Minimum 10 years of experience as a MySQL Database Administrator.



- Proficiency in database administration tools and utilities.



- Strong understanding of database architecture, replication, and clustering.



- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of MySQL databases.



- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.



- Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications :

- MySQL certification(s) is a plus.

- Experience with other database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Oracle.

- Familiarity with cloud-based database services such as Amazon RDS or Google Cloud SQL.
