Job Title: Database AdministrationSenior Location: Chennai TN 600119 Duration: 24 Months Job Type: Full Time Work Type: Onsite Position Description:
  • Providing assistance to the application teamin identifying database problems
  • Good Handson working knowledge on
  • Performance Tuning
  • Alwayson Mirroring and Replication.
  • Backup and Recovery.
  • SQL server Version Databasemigrations.
  • creatingand troubleshooting SQL Server Agent Jobs.
  • Database Maintenance activity.
  • Database files management
  • Good Troubleshootingskill for SSIS package.
  • Knowledge on TDE encryption
  • Exposure to TDP / TSM / Veeam for data backupand recovery.
  • Database Security adherence.
  • Coordinate with customers / other teams /vendors in resolving requests and incidents.
  • Process adherence processimprovements and knowledge management Automate the daily tasksusing PowerShell.
  • Involve in problem management.
  • Working knowledge on SCOM / Vrops /monitoring tool
Skills Required:
  • Strong in SQL server administration (HAperformance tuning backups monitoring auditing)
  • Strong in PowerShell scriptingTerraform coding
  • Strong knowledge in any of the google cloud DBtechnologies ( Cloud SQL PostgreSQL Spanner etc.. )
Experience Required:
  • Strong inSQL server administration (HA performance tuning backups monitoringauditing)
  • PowerShellscripting Terraform work experience
  • Work experience in any of the DB technologieslike Mongo PostgreSQL Redis AlloyDB google spanner
  • Cohesity backup tool
Education Required:
  • Strong inSQL server administration (HA performance tuning backups monitoringauditing)
  • PowerShellscripting Terraform work experience
  • Work experience in any of the DB technologieslike Mongo PostgreSQL Redis AlloyDB google spanner
Education Preferred:
  • Chef/Habitat knowledge
  • VRA/VRO knowledge
