Job Description:

- Familiarity with both 2D and 3D seismic operations.- Familiarity with geographical data and geodesic systems.- Good knowledge of Fugro Starfix Software, including Seismic Solution and Seismic Navigation QC widgets. Be able to assist in remote trouble shooting.- Assist online surveyors in Starfix NG setup as required to ensure that the correct format and standard of deliverables are being realised.- Analyze First Line QC reports and feedback to the vessel- Assist the Seismic Navigation Supervisor with suggestions to improve the software.- Assist with training and knowledge dissemination- Good knowledge of UKOOA and OGP formats. Keen to learn in detail when required- Assist in processing navigation data required in the production of project deliverables- Willingness to assist in processing large data volumes as required to meet project requirements- Attention to detail in data, logsheet and report file handling- Familiar with quality control logic and corresponding mathematics- Feedback project and mobilisation performance to seismic delivery team and make suggestions for improvement.- Assist in review and acting upon lessons learned from wider project teams.

HSE Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring safety of self and others at site. Prevent damage of equipment and assets Responsible for following all safety signs/procedures/ safe working practices Responsible for using appropriate PPE’s Responsible for participating in mock drills. Entitled to refuse any to undertake any activity considered unsafe. Responsible for filling up of hazard observation card, wherever hazard has been noticed at site. Responsible for safe housekeeping of his work place. To stop any operation that is deemed unsafe To be able to operate fire extinguisher in case of fire To report an incident as soon as possible to immediate supervisor and HSE manager To complete HSE trainings as instructed to do so
