Area Sales Executive

**Job Role**:
**Key Job Responsibilities**:
- **Develop and implement strategic sales plans**: The sales executive will be responsible for developing comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets set by the company. This includes identifying key market segments, setting sales objectives, and outlining the strategies and tactics needed to reach those objectives.
- **Identify and prospect new business opportunities**: The sales executive will actively seek out and cultivate relationships with potential clients through various means such as market research, networking events, and targeted lead generation activities. This involves understanding customer needs, pain points, and buying behaviours to position ’ products and services effectively.
- **Build and maintain strong customer relationships**: The sales executive will be the primary point of contact for existing clients, distributors, and other industry stakeholders. They will work to nurture and strengthen these relationships through regular communication, providing exceptional customer service, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- **Conduct product presentations and demonstrations**: The sales executive will conduct engaging and informative presentations to showcase CP products and solutions to potential clients. This may involve demonstrating product features, highlighting benefits, and addressing customer questions or objections to drive interest and close sales.
- **Collaborate with internal teams**: Effective collaboration with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, is crucial for success in this role. The sales executive will work closely with these teams to ensure alignment on sales objectives, product messaging, and customer requirements to deliver a seamless experience and drive customer satisfaction.
- **Prepare and present sales proposals**: The sales executive will be responsible for preparing and presenting sales proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients in accordance with company guidelines and policies. This includes accurately documenting customer requirements, pricing, terms, and conditions to secure new business and drive revenue growth.
- **Track sales activities and performance metrics**: Utilising CRM software and other tools, the sales executive will diligently track sales activities, manage the sales pipeline, and analyse performance metrics to monitor progress towards targets and identify areas for improvement. This data-driven approach will inform decision-making and help optimise sales strategies and tactics.
- **Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities**: To stay ahead in a competitive market landscape, the sales executive will continuously monitor industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities. This includes attending trade shows, conferences, and industry events to gather intelligence, identify opportunities, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
**Basic Qualifications & Skills Required**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- a proven track record in industrial sales, preferably in the tools and equipment sector.
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
