Job Description for Placement Officer (2 Years of Experience)
Position: Placement Officer
Location: [Kudlu Gate]
Experience: Minimum 2 years in placement or related field
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Industry Liaison**:Build and nurture relationships with a diverse range of companies to understand their hiring needs.
Stay updated on industry trends, job market demands, and changes in recruitment processes.
**Placement Coordination**:Coordinate and organize placement drives, on-campus interviews, and other placement-related activities.
Work closely with academic departments to understand the skill sets of students and align them with industry requirements.
**Student Preparation**:Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance students' employability skills, including resume writing, interview preparation, and soft skills.
Provide individual counseling to students regarding career options and job search strategies.
**Data Management**:Maintain an updated database of student profiles, their skills, and placement status.
Generate reports on placement statistics, including the number of students placed, industry-wise placement data, etc.
**Employer Engagement**:Actively engage with potential employers to understand their recruitment needs and expectations.
Organize employer interactions, guest lectures, and industry networking events for students.
**Collaboration with Alumni**:Leverage alumni networks to create additional placement opportunities.
Seek feedback from alumni in the industry to enhance the placement process.
**Placement Drive Execution**:Plan and execute placement drives efficiently, ensuring a smooth process for both students and recruiters.
Collaborate with the placement team to manage logistics for on-campus and off-campus recruitment events.
**Feedback Mechanism**:Gather feedback from both students and employers post-placement to continuously improve the placement process.
Implement changes and improvements based on feedback received.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a placement-related role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of current industry trends and job market demands.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic departments, students, and employers.
- Proficient in data management and report generation.
- Familiarity with career counseling and guidance techniques.
- Networking skills to build and maintain relationships with employers and alumni.
**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
**Experience**:
