**JOB DESCRIPTION** Job summary**:
DCC provides custody & clearing services to foreign investor clients investing in India. Our clients are based across geographies and cut across business segments. They are leading Asset Managers, Pension Funds, Insurance Companies, Investment Advisors, Trusts, Corporate, Sovereign Bodies, State Agencies and Charitable Institutions etc. J.P. Morgan DCC in India also supports DR issuances as a Domestic Custodian Bank for Overseas Depository Banks. We are servicing 85+ key client relationships for J.P. Morgan including our Investment Bank accounts. J.P. Morgan DCC in India acts as a quasi-regulator in their capacity as a Designated Depository Participant (DDP) to manage India Market registration process.

**Job responsibilities**:

- Managing end-to-end Client Onboarding including FPI registration process.
- Stay current with evolving industry and regulatory changes, client requirements and analyze impact to business, processes, and compliance.
- Steer process efficiencies by Innovation, Robotics and deploying lean principles.
- Internal & External Stakeholder & Market relationship management.
- Perform detail risk and control assessments and ongoing process reviews to identify patterns/trends with risk and control implications.

**Core Competencies**
- Partnership - The individual is required to interact with internal stake holders like KYC Utility teams (WCOB), Business, Compliance (Business+GFCC) and Legal teams and externally with the regulators, auditors, etc. The individual to possess strong stakeholder/relationship management, task driving & execution skills, ability to work independently and multi-task to ensure key deliverables are met with relevant controls. Works well individually and in teams, works collectively with Account Implementation team to open accounts in a timely manner to deliver best in class service. This individual should have the ability to create strong stakeholder relationships that promote transparency and open dialogue around control issues.
- Communication - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex and sensitive issues to management in a persuasive manner. Communication should be crisp and precise to avoid interpretations.
- Leadership
- Ability to assess priorities, adapt to a changing environment, organize and lead resources, monitor progress and timely deliver a high quality end product. The individual should be enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure, encourage the team to think out of the box and implement feasible ideas.

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:

- Education to degree standard is preferable, as is a relevant professional qualification.
- Minimum 10 - 12 years with 5-7 years of relevant business experience.
- Knowledge and experience of regulatory & corporate compliance activities and handling Corporate and Investment bank products & people management would be beneficial.
