- Responsibilities:_
- _Ensuring Indirect and Direct Tax Payments and returns /Queries procedures and timelines are being followed_
- _Review applicable accounting reports and Tax reconciliations to ensure accuracy and no outstanding or open issues before month/quarter/year end_
- _Provide effective communication between the business, and the other client departments._
- _Understanding and maintenance of accurate internal controls._
- _Ensuring all SLAs should be green and run required reports on daily basis_
- _Closure on all internal/external audit observations_
- _Investigate queries and provide RCA for any customer concerns_
- _Co-ordinate with multiple partners and provide training to backup resources_
- _Download updates and update procedure document as and when required_
- _Review and approval of receipts and payments_
- _Handle Direct / Indirect Tax related queries and ban calls_
- _Take funds movement decisions, raise movement payments and handle returned payments_
- _Supervise receipts & complete accounting_
- Qualifications and Experience:_
- _Graduate in Commerce_
- _Proven experience in Tax function / Indirect & Direct tax_
- _Insurance Domain knowledge_
- _Lean/Six Sigma awareness_
- Knowledge:_
- _Good Interpersonal Skills_
- _Proficiency in MS Excel_
- _Demonstrated delivery of high quality output_
- _Ability to form relationships with internal customers in Genpact and very meaningfully with client - must be seen as a proactive, effective teammate_
- _Ability to respond to stretch situations of volume spikes as and when the need arises_
