You will be responsible for identifying relevant opportunities, preparing compelling bids, and diligently following up on submissions to maximize success rates. Your meticulous attention to detail and comprehensive understanding of GEM procedures will be crucial in ensuring compliance and achieving optimal outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Proactively identify tender opportunities on the GEM platform relevant to our organization's objectives and capabilities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and insights for bid preparation.
Craft persuasive and compliant tender submissions tailored to the specific requirements of each opportunity.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion and submission of bids.
Monitor tender progress and actively engage in follow-up activities, including clarifications and negotiations.
Maintain accurate records of tendering activities, outcomes, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
**Requirements**:
Demonstrated experience in GEM tendering and familiarity with the GEM portal and processes.
Strong understanding of government procurement regulations and practices.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
Proven track record of successfully securing contracts through competitive bidding processes.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in back-office operations, specifically in processing quotations, e-invoicing, and tender preparation on government portals.
- Proficient in using relevant software and tools for back-office tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes is highly desirable.
