Appointment Setter

**Lead Qualification**: must screen leads by asking qualifying questions to determine if the prospect fits the company’s ideal customer profile. This can involve gathering information about the lead’s industry, budget, needs, and purchasing timeline.
- **Setting Appointments**: Once a lead is qualified, the appointment setter should schedule a meeting between the lead and a sales representative or account executive. Should coordinate times that work for both parties, ensuring there are no scheduling conflicts.
- **Follow-Up Calls**: For leads that are interested but not ready to schedule a meeting, appointment setters handle follow-up calls. They keep the lead engaged and informed about the company’s offerings until the time is right for an appointment.
- **Relationship Building**: Building rapport with prospects is key. Appointment setters engage leads in conversation, addressing initial questions and objections, which helps to warm up the lead and make them more receptive to speaking with a sales representative.
