Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM) cum Appointment setter
Location: Mohali (US Timings)
Reports To: Sales Director / Business Development Head
Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) cum Appt Setter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, calling potential clients, and building lasting relationships. Your ability to take on challenges and drive results will play a key role in expanding our presence in the market.
This is a work from office position requiring working in US business hours (EST/PST).
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients and business opportunities in the U.S. market.
- Generate new leads through calls, emails, and networking to expand the client base.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.
Calling and Lead Generation:
- Make outbound calls to prospects, introducing our services and generating interest.
- Qualify leads and set appointments for sales meetings or further discussions.
- Manage and follow-up with leads, ensuring consistent communication and a seamless experience.
Strategy & Growth:
- Take ownership of the sales process from lead generation to closing.
- Develop and execute strategies to meet sales targets and increase revenue.
- Take initiative to explore new market segments and opportunities for growth.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, leads, and progress towards goals.
Client Relations:
- Understand client needs, challenges, and pain points, offering innovative solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the sales cycle.
- Build trust and rapport with clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and retention.
Experience:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or lead generation, with a focus on client acquisition.
- Experience in cold calling, outbound sales, and lead qualification.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to influence and persuade effectively.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems creatively.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a remote setting.
- Comfortable with working in US business hours (EST/PST).
- A positive, results-driven attitude with a passion for overcoming challenges.
- Experience in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) is a plus.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment, with the ability to pivot and handle multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the U.S. market is highly preferred.
- Background in digital marketing, tech, or service-based industries is a plus.
- A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and meeting KPIs.
