Vendor Management:
- Aid in fostering and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
- Assist in periodic evaluations of vendor performance for quality product delivery.
- Strategic Procurement and Storage:
- Lead discussions on the company’s procurement and storage strategies.
- Coordinate with team members to clarify specifications and storage requirements.
- Sourcing and Inventory Management:
- Identify and onboard potential suppliers in alignment with project needs.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and storage conditions.
- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring the availability of essential items.
- Implement strategies for store space optimization and efficient material handling.
- Purchase Order Execution:
- Oversee the preparation, processing, and monitoring of purchase orders.
- Ensure accurate deliveries and promptly address any discrepancies or delays.
- Negotiation
- Market Analysis
- Help gather data for market trend analysis.
- Support in identifying potential areas for cost-saving.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure procured items adhere to quality guidelines.
- Work with the Quality Control department for product evaluations.
- Documentation and Record Maintenance
- Supervise the maintenance of comprehensive records of purchasing and storage activities.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Cross-Departmental Collaborations
- Engage proactively with departments such as finance, logistics, and operations to optimize the purchasing and storage processes.
**Qualifications**:
Years of Experience - min 2 yrs.
Compensation: 16000/Month
Educational Background: BCom, BBA, Diploma in Retail Management, Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, BSc in Mathematics/Statistics, or any relevant certifications
Professional / Technical Skills - Proficiency in MS Excel, Knowledge in Tally is preferred.
Work Shift - 9am -6pm
