The Procurement Professional is responsible for driving and executing the procurement plan and activities in B2B Category, Strategic Sourcing to support Business Partners. In this role, the responsible will be required to develop and implement strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure continuous value delivery under procurement policies framework.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Strategic**
- Support the planning and execution of Category procurement plans and sourcing activities using the sourcing appropriate levers within procurement policies and procedures.
- The role requires collaboration with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure procurement effectiveness in delivering value to the BT and its customers

**Operational**
- Deliver business improvements, category plans and savings through planning and timely execution of sourcing, bid support, Supplier and Risk management activities
- Drive and deliver end-to-end sourcing projects including complex contractual and pricing models
- Ensure bid support through timely sourcing and commercial activities, including contractual terms and conditions, service definitions and SLAs, leveraging best practices.
- Collaborate with regional & global teams, internal & external stakeholders, to deliver the business objectives, category plan & sourcing activities against key performance & behaviour metrices.
- Adhere to required procurement processes and governance

**Activities**
- Plan and Execute Category plan and performance, collaborating with stakeholders delivering long
- term values, leveraging best practices, sourcing process levers that minimise the Total Cost of Ownership for BT and Customers
- Drive and deliver end-to-end sourcing projects including complex contractual and pricing models
- Develop and deliver policies and frameworks underpin products and service delivery
- Collaborate with regional teams and ensure category plan implementation to deliver brilliant outcomes for BT and our customers
- Maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiate commercial and contractual arrangements utilising the latest contracting tools, templates and terms and conditions, ensure required performance and contractual obligations are met, while incorporating innovative improvement initiatives
Skills and Experience
- 5-7 years of experience within the Procurement function, with strong Strategic and analytical ability, can collaborate well with stakeholders to deliver value and results for the BT Organisation
- Strong business expertise in relevant category, particularly around supplier capabilities, commercial models, product lifecycles and partner programmes required to deliver portfolio and customer requirements
- Demonstrates a track record of decision-making capability and deliver against key metrics
- Effective management skills & ability to influence decision making with senior stakeholders within a matrixed environment
- Ability to manage complex, strategic, and commercial requirements between BT and Suppliers, deliver projects and results on time and in full
- Demonstrates strong continuous improvement skills that exceeds customer expectations.
