**Procurement skills**:

- Should have experience in Commercial modelling and contracting including MSAs
- Good understanding of BT’s operating environment
- Strong hold on procurement process, supplier management, negotiation tactics and understands risk

- 4-7 years’ experience as a buyer within the Procurement sourcing function or a Commercial function,

**Why this job matters**
The Procurement Professional supports in the implementation of procurement strategies for complex projects across the BT Group's spend categories, delivering procurement of material / services through the identification of needs and execution of purchasing according to established agreements.

**Strategic**
- Support the development and execution of sourcing plan and activities, through planning and execution of RFx and bid support
- Defines projects / categories / goods or services in scope for low cost location sourcing (ASEAN etc), understands the market

**Operational**
- Assist in setting the strategy and capability for Quadro function and develop the processes, templates, governance and framework for executing Quadro projects
- Work with the Quadro category leads and the category managers to evaluate Design to Cost, Design to Value, Teardown, Should costing opportunities
- Research low-cost location markets to understand current suppliers, pricing models, strategies to drive down pricing
- Support business requirement triage and alignment
- Maintain good work relationship with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure continuous alignment and buy in
- Execute and run Quadro projects, including definition of event type, template, and material preparation
- Review suppliers from Agreed Supplier List and carry out market research for additional supplier providing service
- Review the low-cost location sourcing projects in scope for regions e.g. ASEAN, and maintain list of goods / services in scope and the procurement owner for them (e.g. FM & Property in services for ASEAN)
- Provide advice and assistance on specific eAuctions or other sourcing strategy for sourcing requests channelled to the Procurement Enablement
- Manage relationships with key suppliers, utilising the latest contracting tools, templates and terms and conditions
