Technician I

**Purpose of Position**: To support Design team with required on hands proto assembly trials, testing and validation efforts. Work on design documentations such as service bulletins, product packaging and to some extent support with drawing creation. Support on ERP activities, such as part number, PG, BOM creation

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Production Line support
- Production BOM support
- PR/PO Creation for trial parts.
- SAP support
- Part and PG creation
- New product development Build support and material handling/movement
- Testing and validation support for new product development
- support on VAVE build/validation support.
- Functional testing.
- Support on small design documentation and release activities
- Total Experience in years: 1 to 2 years
- Graduation/ Degree: Diploma/B.E/B.Tech.

**Domain (Preferred Industry) - **Home Appliances, Automotive, Peripherals industry

**Skills required (in detail)**:

- Should be able to communicate with team members in English
- Design of components, subsystem & system level.
- Understanding of Plastic Materials. Injection molding process.
- understanding of Sheet Metal components. Stamping and bending process
- understanding of engineering principles, theory, and practice.
- Exposure to design calculations for structural components.
- Exposure to GD&T Tolerance Stack up
- Tool Design-Injection Molding & Press Tool Knowledge.
- Creo 8.0 small design/drawing support with (Solid and surface Modelling, drawing Detailing, Sheet Metal, Piping), Windchill and SAP
