We are currently seeking a talented and driven Sales Representative to join our team and drive sales through modern trade channels.
Role Summary:
As a Sales Representative (Modern Trade) at GKD's Consumer Care, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining key accounts in the modern trade sector. You will be responsible for driving sales, implementing promotional strategies, ensuring product availability and visibility, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key modern trade accounts to drive sales and achieve sales targets.
- Implement promotional strategies to increase brand awareness, drive product trials, and boost sales.
- Ensure optimal product availability and visibility in modern trade outlets through effective merchandising and display strategies.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and operations, to develop and execute sales plans and strategies.
- Conduct regular visits to modern trade outlets to build relationships with store managers, address any issues or concerns, and gather market intelligence.
- Monitor and track sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and documentation in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in modern trade sales.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in modern trade sales, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of developing and managing key accounts to drive sales and achieve targets.
- Strong knowledge of modern trade channels, including hypermarkets, supermarkets, and convenience stores.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and performance data to inform sales strategies and decisions.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and sales management software.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
