**Job description**

A sales trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of sales teams. He/She will play a critical role in equipping sales professionals with the necessary tools and techniques to achieve sales targets and excel in their roles.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Develop training programs: As an individual contributor, design and develop comprehensive training programs that address the needs of the sales team, including product knowledge, sales techniques, objection handling, negotiation skills, and customer relationship management.
- Conduct training sessions: Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to sales teams, both in-person and through virtual platforms. These sessions may include presentations, role-plays, group activities, and case studies to facilitate effective learning
- Assess training needs: Assess the skill gaps and training needs of sales teams through analysis, feedback from sales managers, and observation. Identify areas for improvement and customize training programs accordingly
- Create training materials: Develop training materials, such as presentations, handouts, e-learning modules, and assessments, to support training programs. Ensure training materials are up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with sales objectives
- Onboard new hires: Facilitate the onboarding process for new sales team members by providing them with comprehensive training on sales processes, product knowledge, and company policies. Ensure they are equipped to quickly become productive contributors to the sales team.
- Coach and mentor: Provide individual coaching and mentoring to sales representatives to reinforce learning, address individual performance gaps, and foster professional growth. Offer guidance and support to help sales professionals overcome challenges and achieve sales targets.
- Evaluate training effectiveness: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through various evaluation methods, such as post-training assessments, performance evaluations, and feedback from sales teams. Continuously improve training programs based on feedback and results
- Stay updated on industry trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, sales methodologies, and best practices in sales training. Share relevant insights and knowledge with the sales team to enhance their skills and adapt to evolving market dynamics
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with sales managers, HR teams, and other stakeholders to identify training needs, align training programs with sales goals, and ensure training initiatives are integrated into the overall sales strategy.

**Desired Profile**:

- 2-5 years of experience as a Sales Trainer. Preferably having field sales experience.
- Post-Graduate in any discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in content creation (ppt & video based)
- Good understanding of training principles, metrics, and delivery parameters
- Should be Fluent in English, Hindi and Kannada (Other South Indian languages will be added advantage).
- Flexible for travelling

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
