Import Documentation Executive

Job Description:
As an Import and Export Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to manage and facilitate the efficient flow of import and export shipments. Your role involves handling and processing all relevant documents, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring timely execution of shipments. You will also be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, key clients, and forwarders. Additionally, understanding customer needs and exceeding their expectations through effective communication and follow-ups is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process all import and export documents.
- Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure smooth and timely execution of shipments.
- Collaborate with suppliers and relevant teams to obtain necessary documentation for shipment clearance.
- Update and follow up on outstanding orders with overseas suppliers.
- Conduct cycle stock counts for selected items.
- **Good Experience in Purchase**:
- Understand customer needs and requirements.
- Provide quotations and ensure on-time deliveries to exceed customer expectations.
- Conduct follow-up calls to gather feedback and address any concerns.
- Maintain a close working relationship with key clients.
- Build and sustain relationships with suppliers and forwarders to ensure efficient order processing.
- Engage in strategic sourcing, emphasizing quality and reliability.
- Proficiency in Hindi and English reading is necessary.
- Openness to feedback and a willingness to continuously improve.
