Network Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:
1. Technical Support:
- Provide technical assistance to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, network issues efficiently.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Ensure timely and prompt resolution of IT-related issues using a ticketing system.
2. System & Network Administration:
- Monitor, maintain company servers, networks, infrastructure to ensure continuous availability and performance.
- Perform regular system backups, security updates, and network performance monitoring.
- Configure and manage firewalls, routers, switches to enhance network security and optimize performance.
3. Software Management:
- Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and conduct periodic software audits.
- Provide technical training and support for enterprise software and tools used.
4. IT Security & Compliance:
- Implement and manage security protocols and policies to protect company data and IT assets.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to detect and prevent security breaches.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or other internal and external requirements.
5. Project Management & IT Strategy:
- Assist in planning/implementation of IT projects, such as upgrades, deployments, infrastructure improvements.
- Work closely with vendors, service providers for procurement, installation, maintenance of IT hardware.
6. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of IT assets, including hardware, software, licenses, and warranties.
- Create and update technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, procedures, and user manuals.
- Generate regular reports on system performance, security issues, project progress to ensure alignment with business goals.
Qualifications:
- 0 to 1 year of experience in IT support, network administration, or a related field (internship experience is also acceptable).
- Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, software, and networking protocols.
- Familiarity with common IT security practices and compliance standards.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within the IT field.
