**Job Title - **Data Residency & Access Controls Specialist**

**Location - Pune**

**Role Description**

You will be involved in embedding Data Residency & Access Controls and rollout of metadata strategy across the bank.

**Your key responsibilities**- Ensure timely resolution of stakeholder inquiries and control approvals
- Facilitate disciplined meeting management including setting up clear meeting agenda, capturing decisions and actions in minutes, and proactively managing action resolution and closure.
- Support Residency & Access team leads by conducting detailed business analysis and documenting changes to policies, controls, processes, and guidelines
- Support engagement with technology to explore and drive to implementation automation and other process efficiency improvements
- Support in driving key risk and control initiatives within CDO, read across to drive forward looking risks and execute within agreed timelines.
- Assist in preparing Senior Management reporting on data residency related findings globally.
- Build and maintain sustainable networks and partnerships across the organization to ensure effective CDO brand ambassadorship.
- Manage, recruit and assist in developing and coaching junior members of the team.

**Your skills and experience**
- 14+ years of experience in Data Controls, Data remediation, Strategy, Risk, Compliance or Business Management / Analyst role, knowledge of Banking technology is a plus
- Solid analytical skills, including effective manipulation of Excel spreadsheets
- Excellent organizational skills and a high attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and to deliver to tight deadlines
- Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills, ability to explain complex problem in a clear and structure way
- Very good ability to oversee/structure complex tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex functional and technical content and dependencies into a language which can be understood by the relevant stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and flexibility to work autonomously coupled with ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organisations including appreciation of different cultures during collaborating and sharing.
- Ability to build up knowledge related to new technology / process / solutions in an effective and timely manner
- Experience in a Data related field is a benefit (Data Management, Records Management, Data Privacy, Information Security) - preferably in financial services organization.
- Experience of working on global regulatory requirements and an understanding of the mapping of such requirements to the bank’s processes and frameworks.
- Experience in effectively collaborating across multiple teams and geographies
