**We have around 1.2 million customers and serve over half the FTSE 350. Our customers range from big household names, government departments and public service organisations right through to small businesses and new start-ups. We cover both the communications and IT services markets. Overall we’re focused on four main product markets: Fixed Voice; Mobility; Fibre and connectivity; networked IT services provided over the biggest UK network in both fixed and mobile communications. We also provide network IT services to corporate and public sector organisations in the Republic of Ireland.**

**Our Wholesale business helps communications providers (CPs) and other organisations provide fixed or mobile phone services. Our ventures provide mass-market services like directory enquiries and payphones, and enterprise services including Fleet Solutions and BT Redcare. We also offer specialist enterprise services to our Internet of Things customers.**

**Why this job matters**

**This role is responsible for the complex and technical EMS data, the structure of the data and quality while in the database but not responsible for any issues inherited from the source system. Import and transform the data into a suitable format. This includes the collection and storage of internal and external data and providing support of the infrastructure, which allows the Service Performance Team to provide Reporting, Insight and SLM services to all EMS. Critical to reporting and mitigating all external Service Level Agreements in accordance with agreed service level targets whilst providing EMS with required business insights to make informed decisions.**

**Working directly with key stakeholders, designs and develops the reporting infrastructure and new reporting solutions. To enable the Service performance team to optimise and automate their capabilities, allowing the business to transform their capabilities, grow and bring in new services**

**What I’ll be doing - your accountabilities**

**Skills required for the job**

**All following items are conditional on any limitations imposed by the underlying infrastructure and that are not directly in control of the Service Performance Team**
- **Implementation and management of a robust and expandable EMS Customer Reporting infrastructure, which aligns to the Enterprise strategy, which is accessible to EMS and the Enterprise teams.**
- **Development and management of a Reporting solution, which allows all EMS Service Performance Customer Service Reports to be developed, managed and distributed effectively and efficiently within the targeted SLA’s.**
- **Development and maintenance of complex solutions to manage the automation of the SQL database from collection to the transformation into high level measures ready for consumption by the EMS Reporting**
- **Development of new reporting capabilities and solutions for their area, standardising, simplifying and optimising our current reporting estate across EMS.**
- **Managing key stakeholder expectations to successful conclusion, engaging across EMS and the Wider BT Teams, such as Technology, Service Enablement, Service Optimisation and Performance.**
